1. Three Levels of Decision Making
• Level A: Extend Knowledge Base – Think about what you already know about the issue and then research more information
• Level B: Make an Informed Decision – State the challenge, think about alternatives and consequences, and then make an INFORMED decision.
• Level C: Carry out Action Plan – Design and apply an action plan, evaluate progress, revise as needed.
2. ABCDE’s of Decision Making
• A: Assess the problem – figure out the problem
• B: Brainstorm alternative solutions – What will I do?
• C: Consider the consequenses for EACH solution – What will happen?
• D: Decide and act – Just do it!
• E: Evaluate the consequenses – Look back on your choice. Was it the right one?
